Water penetration resistance and ventilation capacity tests of our ventilation grilles
Tests of our Façad'Ligne louvers
All our louversin the Façad’Ligne range have been subjected to tests by the French body CSTB (Centre Scientifique et Technique du Bâtiment) according to the EN13030 standard "Performance testing of external air louvers subjected to simulated rain". The results of these tests are applicable to all our ventilation grillesand louvered cladding that we offer for sale.
Test method for water penetration resistance
Following the test protocol defined by the EN13030 standard, a 1 m² grilleis subjected to a water spray of 75 liters per hour, under an external wind speed of 13 meters per second. The amount of water passing through the louversallows its efficiency (in %) to be obtained based on the intake air flow and thus its classification to be determined.

TEST METHOD FOR VENTILATION
Following the test protocol defined by the EN13030 standard, the tests measure the pressure drop operating at intake and exhaust. The test results identify the airflow coefficient and calculate the K factor.
RESULTS AND TEST REPORTS
The results are valid for the louversin our Façad’Ligne range and are available on the product sheets of our website. Complete reports of the tests carried out by the CSTB are available only upon request.
