Understanding the EHPD
The Environmental and Health Product Declaration (EHPD / FDES) is a reference document for building professionals.
It brings together all the environmental and health data of a construction product, resulting from a complete Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) – from cradle to grave.
Its objective: to provide transparent, verified, and comparable information to project owners, architects, engineering firms, and economists, in order to integrate each product into the calculation of the environmental performance of buildings, particularly within the framework of RE2020 regulations.
Verified individual EHPDs by Tellier Brise-Soleil
At Tellier Brise-Soleil, the EHPD is at the heart of our approach to transparency and eco-design.
Our verified individual EHPDs now cover all our ranges :
- AZUR - airfoil-shaped louvers<
- RECTI’LIGNE - rectangular and trapezoidal louvers
- CANICULE - clip-on sunshade louvers
- HARMONIE FACADE - architectural façade cladding profiles with concealed fixings
- FACAD’LIGNE - louvered façade cladding
Available on the INIES database, these sheets take into account :
- Fixed and adjustable sunshades,
- All louversfrom the ranges mentioned above
- Motorization and energy consumption for adjustable louvers
- Included fixing components
- A reference service life of 50 years, in accordance with CSTB conventions, without loss of solar performance (supported by evidence of fitness for use)
The EHPD configurator : CONFIG’ALU
Continuing this approach, the SNFA has developed the CONFIG’ALU platform, dedicated to creating verified and personalized EHPDs.
This tool, accessible to members (including Tellier Brise-Soleil) and environmental engineering firms, allows for the generation of sheets adapted to each project by integrating specific parameters (louver mass, framework, etc.) in accordance with the NF EN 15804+A2/CN standard.
The goal: to obtain a precise and contextualized environmental assessment of the sunshade actually implemented.
