- The QUALICOAT label relates to aluminum products powder-coated after forming (post-forming powder coating) . Powder coating includes surface preparation, chemical conversion (Chromic or non-Chromic approved by QUALICOAT), application of the coating (generally polyester powder) and oven curing . The powder coatings used are subject to prior approval by QUALICOAT, which verifies their good durability characteristics over time. The average thickness of the coating layer is at least 60 microns.
- The QUALICOAT label with "SEASIDE" or QUALIMARINE endorsement includes surface preparation, chemical conversion, application of the coating (generally polyester powder) and oven curing . This label certifies the quality of the powder coating process (compliant thickness of the coating layer, adhesion, mechanical durability , etc.).

ANODIZING COLOR CHART
- The QUALANOD label relates to anodized aluminum products. Anodizing is the specific surface treatment for aluminum which consists of creating a uniform, highly durable aluminum oxide layer through electrolysis. This layer can be colorless or colored.
The thickness of the layer varies according to several anodizing classes, depending on the final exposure of the product. A 15-micron layer thick is generally applied outdoors. Marine environments require a 20 µm anodized layer. . Conversely, in a protected indoor environment, a 5-micron layer is sufficient.
The rigorous anodizing process is generally performed by immersion in successive chemical and electrolytic baths. This process involves several stages: surface preparation, creation of the porous anhydrous alumina layer, optional coloring of this layer, and its final sealing.
